When troubleshooting DNS problems what does analysing the /etc/nsswitch.conf file accomplish?

A. It allows us to ensure that our host is querying the appropriate sources for DNS information including DNS servers.
B. This file isn't useful for troubleshooting as it is only used to switch the type of name resolution we're using.
